Indiana University Enlists LifeOmic Platform for Cancer Research
"Two major thrusts of the current research effort for the Adult Precision Genomics program are to optimize treatments following surgery for patients with triple negative breast cancer using genomic biomarkers to direct therapy. Secondly, the program is actively seeking to understand and remediate disparities that exist in patient access to genomic sequencing technology as part of their cancer care...Collaborating with a forward-thinking company such as LifeOmic helps to dig deeper into our experience with sequencing data for over 6,000 patients to understand how to use the new targeted anti-cancer drugs better for each patient and to think through how to design the next generation of clinical trials" -Christopher Fausel, Clinical Manager for Oncology Pharmacy, Indiana University Health

LifeOmic Biomedical Team and Indianapolis Based Physicians Publishes New Study in American Association for Cancer Research Journal
LifeOmic collaborated with researchers at Indiana University School of Medicine on a novel phase I clinical trial for women with triple-negative breast cancer. The clinical trial tested for the first time in humans the safety of a combination of drugs, gedatolisib and cofetuzumab pelidotin, that more effectively kill breast cancer cells than either alone. The results showed that the drug combination was well tolerated and is a promising approach to prolong patient survival.
Did you know that the Precision Health Cloud integrates with major EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner and Cerbo? Our integrations allow for a two-way data stream between platforms allowing for up to date patient data at all times without platform switching.
